How to Clean and Descaling the Kettle: To clean and descale the kettle, fill it with 1 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water. Boil the liquid and let it sit for 2 hours. Use a cloth to clean and wipe the kettle, then rinse it with clean water and dry with a soft, clean cloth. Repeat the process as needed for a spotless kettle.
Important Notes: - Add at least 118 mL of filtered water to the kettle without filling it above the 'MAX' line. - If your kettle shows spots or rust on the stainless steel bottom after the first use, it may be due to hard water in your area. - When using a preset with Hold Temp, the kettle will continue heating if lifted and returned to the base within 1 minute.
